| August 5 - The Animal House, Rte 1, Newcastle, Maine is holding their second Education Fair to raise money for local animal shelters and rescue groups. DogChewz donated items for the auction. |

| January 5th, 8:15pm at the 92nd St Y...The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a founding member of the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC's Animals, aims to make New York a "no-kill" city by 2008. The alliance brings together 115 non- profit animal care groups. Edwin Sayres, the president and CEO of the ASPCA, and Jane Hoffman, the president of the alliance, speak about the coalition model and its efforts to make New York and the nation truly humane. |
